 Glenn grew up in a family of artists in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He sold his first painting to local collectors in southeastern Pennsylvania when he was only a high school student. Over the last several years, Glenn has participated in numerous workshops and seminars throughout the country. His work is now in numerous homes and businesses in the eastern and midwestern United States. Glenn has made his presence known in several local and international shows. Inspired by the outdoors, Glenn spends a lot of time hiking, biking, motorcycling, kayaking, and running. He usually prefers driving rather than flying when traveling and always keeps a camera or sketchbook with him. His watercolors are reflective of his outdoor activities and travels.
"I like to paint what interests me, often landscapes from my adventures. I try to capture the emotion and atmosphere of my subject. When I look at a
scene, I envision how it would look in snow, clouds, fog, or in bright light when it is in the peak of its beauty. I try to incorporate impressionism with
a touch of realism. Total realism is for the photographers. I strive for artistic interpretation of my subjects."
